As a nationally recognized physician leader, healthcare executive, board-certified geriatrician, pharmacist, and international best-selling author, he brings more than a decade of experience leading innovative, person-centered care models that improve outcomes, enhance quality of life, and advance value-based care for older adults and complex populations.
Throughout his career, Dr. Patel has held senior leadership roles across healthcare organizations, including PACE and managed care. His expertise lies in leading clinical strategy and medical operations to deliver integrated, high-quality care that meets the evolving needs of patients and providers. An accomplished author and speaker, Dr. Patel is the international best-selling author of Age Is Just a Number: A Geriatrician’s Secrets to Getting the Most Out of Life.
Dr. Patel earned his BPharm from North Gujarat University, MD from St. James School of Medicine, completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and pursued advanced fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He also earned his MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.
