Dr. Michelle Murphy is Director of PBA Services at ChorusRx, where she leads pharmacy benefit administration strategy and operations. She brings more than 15 years of experience across managed care, pharmacy benefit management, clinical pharmacy, and healthcare operations, with expertise spanning payer and PBM strategy, Medicaid managed care, clinical program development, medication management, transitions of care, and pharmacy operations.
She previously held roles focused on payer relationships, pharmacy benefit implementation, operational workflow development, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration among health plans, pharmacies, providers, and other healthcare stakeholders. Dr. Murphy played a lead role in implementing pharmacy benefits for Community HealthChoices, Pennsylvania’s statewide Managed Long-Term Services and Supports program, gaining firsthand experience supporting populations with complex Medicare and Medicaid needs. Her clinical experience also includes medication therapy management, utilization management, transitions of care, medication reconciliation, adherence, and care coordination.
Dr. Murphy earned her PharmD from the University of the Sciences and her MS in Medication Therapy Management from the University of Florida. She is a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
